How much food to get the Budweiser Clydesdales ready for Super Bowl Sunday?

  • The Budweiser Clydesdales have appeared in 25 Super Bowl spots since 1975 and getting them camera-ready is no easy task.
  • The Takeout got some facts on these world-famous horses and found that each one eats daily between 4 and 12 pounds of grain, between 30 and 40 pounds of hay, and up to 30 gallons of water.
  • To keep their entire stable of Clydesdales fed, Budweiser needs to provide 6,000 pounds of food daily which is equivalent in weight to a Ford F-250!
