OCTOMOM INVESTIGATED FOR CHILD NEGLECT
The Octomom got a visit from cops and social workers Tuesday after it was reported that she was living in squalid conditions and neglecting her 14 children.
A hairdresser who visited Nadya Suleman's house -- to give her a Brazilian blowout and other hair-care services worth $520 -- reported backed-up plumbing, unsanitary portable toilets in the backyard, shivering children forced to eat outside and kids locked in a room without adult supervision, according to TMZ.
Officials spent more than an hour investigating. A law enforcement spokesman said, "Ms. Suleman was cooperative. They reported they did not observe any cause or reason to prompt us to take any action at this time. We found no criminal intent."
The hairdresser tells TMZ, "The kids are in desperate need of help. I tried to help, but she's not open to anybody helping her. She thinks everything is fine with the kids, and it's not."
