MULTI-PLATINUM and award winning entertainer Jason Aldean had an easy task when he picked a name for his fifth album for Broken Bow Records, out Oct. 16.  One of its 15 songs, “Night Train,” perfectly embodied the tone of his career.  The train is moving, and it’s moving at a rapid pace.
 
NIGHT TRAIN's lead single, driving country/rocker “Take A Little Ride,” sold more digital downloads in its first week than any male country artist in history.  Currently approaching the Top 10 on the Billboard country songs chart in just its fourth week, the song was Aldean's highest chart debut to date.

It seems the DJ at the Daytona Cubs/Ft. Myers Miracle minor league baseball game got ejected from the game when he played a song the umpire didn't like.

An amusement park in China offers a discount to women wearing mini-skirts.  On top of that, they encourage other park patrons to splash water on the mini-skirt-wearing women.

Women in mini-skirts receive half-price admission to the park.  It sounds like it is working.  Park attendance is up for both men and women.

The Band Perry was gracious enough to stop by for an "eat-n-greet" with our listeners as part of our 20th anniversary year.

The lunch at Sullivan's Steakhouse was fantastic.  The Band Perry performed two songs, took some photos and signed autographs.

They are superstars.  I can't wait to see them again.

Little Big Town joined us at Sullivan's Steakhouse for a Red Sky Music Festival "Eat-and-Greet" preparty.  They performed a few songs, signed some autographs and took some photos with us.

We had a great time.  Sullivan's was the perfect setting.  The delicious lunch was the icing on the cake for the entire event.

After the performance, Hoss, Gina and I caught a quick photo with the band.

It sounds like Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise are close to settling their divorce.  It has only been about two weeks since it all became public knowledge.

Word from friends has Suri staying in NYC with Katie.  Tom will get generous visitation rights.
