NEW TREND: "YOU'RE NOT INVITED" ALERTS FOR WEDDINGS: The newest trend for weddings is not a certain centerpiece or color combination, but "You're not invited" alerts. Brides and grooms are contacting people to let them know they should not expect an invitation to their big day festivities. Tatiana Byron, founder of event planning service The Wedding Salon, says it usually happens due to lack of space, and the guilty-feeling couple tends to send the declarations to people they're friendly with, but not close to. Byron says her clients deliver the news in various forms, from e-mailing to sending cards, or having their wedding planner call and apologize on the couple's behalf. (Today)
