KFAB is proud to join forces with the American Heart Association to fight heart disease and stroke at the 2011 Omaha-Council Bluffs Start! Heart Walk. Teams are forming now for the walk on Saturday, May 21, 2011, at Aksarben Village (67th and Center).

Heart disease and stroke are our nation’s No. 1 and No. 3 killers, and stroke is a leading cause of long-term disability. The Start! Heart Walk is a fun and inspirational family event that educates the community on risk factors and prevention, while raising funds for lifesaving research and educational programs. The walk is also a chance to honor survivors and remember and recognize those we have lost to cardiovascular disease.
