This recipe uses dried beans- many people tend to be afraid of them- I LOVE them, because they cost a lot less and have no added sodium. They do require prep and cook time, though.
If you prefer to use canned beans, you could still make the seasoning mix ahead and keep in your spice cabinet to have on the ready. And check back this weekend, where I will show you how to make dried beans ahead of time and keep them in the freezer. Easy peasy! :)
