As celebrities, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert find themselves the target of rumors, and such was the case earlier this week when the two discovered their marriage under scrutiny by a tabloid. A headline claims that Blake cheated on Miranda and their relationship is in turmoil. Instead of getting mad, the couple used humor and Twitter to diffuse the situation.
Blake got things started by tweeting, "Hey @mirandalambert . . . I just read in a tabloid that our marriage is falling apart! FOCK!"
Miranda responded, "Oh no! Can't wait to read if we make it or not."
Blake tweeted, "Ba! Ha! Ha! You see y'all! I'm making her funnier!"
Miranda and Blake are pitted against each other for Entertainer of the Year at next month's ACM Awards, which Blake will also be co-hosting. Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan round out the Entertainer category.
The ACM Awards airs live from Las Vegas on April 7th on CBS.
